Sahu, who was made in-charge of party membership, said in a telephonic conversation while in Patna currently, he states that, “I have no problem with party, nor the candidate, contesting from the seat.
He is sitting MLA from here, and he should be given priority and the party did that”. It is rubbish that I am not happy with it, although, I am glad that party has taken right decision by giving ticket to Satendra Nath Tiwari, he added.
In the 2014 assembly elections, Satendra Nath Tiwari, who had won by a whopping margin of 21755 votes against Girinath Singh of RJD, who is also part of BJP now, looked to be annoyed with party decision.
Regarding the preparation for the assembly election, he said that the booth-level units of the party are being strengthened and focus would be on seeking votes through door-to-door visits. I have asked my supporters to campaign in favour of party, which will ensure our victory.
The polling percentage will be high in this election, and it will be fought on macro-level issues that include, developments that state government has done during last five years, national security, economic development and stable government, he said.
Claiming that the governance during the rule of this government in the past five years was free of corruption, he said that the inflation was also tamed during this period by adopting shrewd economic policies.
