Jharkhand Election: Congress's Manifesto Released

RANCHI: The Congress Party releases its 40-page manifestos for Jharkhand assembly election. The manifesto promises to almost double the job quotas for 'OBC' category, repeal of Land Acquisition Ammendment bills, and farmer loan waivers were main among others promises they made for. 



The party said in its manifesto that will raise job quota from 14 to 27 percent for OBC category, which may secure a job atleast for every household. It also promises to constitute a separate "Sarna", a religious code for trible people.


The party will also explore the scope of waiveing the farms loans, said the UP Congress leader, RPN Singh, an incharge of the Jharkhand poll. "its not the just announcement alone, however, will be implemented for sure, if we come to the government" he added.


All vacant positions in the government will be filled, also try to make a policy to see the scope of contractual staffs to onroll employees to the state government. We will also pay the unemployment allowance to those who cannot get job, said Rameshwar Oraon, the state chief, Congress Party.


The trible people are demanding for a saperate "Sarna" code, will be allowed as they have been asking to be done for a long time. My party is committed to fulfil the desire, Oraon added.
