NGO, ‘Drishti’ to Organise ‘Motivational Gesture with Children’

Garhwa/Kandi: One step ahead, an NGO named 'Dristhti Youth Organisation' to Systematize impetus drive, aiming to motivate those who wish to do something touchy; either in their own lives, or other domain.

The functional will be attended by first IAS of Chhattisgarh Om Prakash Chaudhary (OP Chaudhary) as a chief guest, who quits service to join politics. He hits the headlines when he was the district collector of Dantewada, a Maoist breeding ground in the tribal Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. It was a place where all projects ran years behind schedule because skilled manpower from outside were reluctant to come to the conflict-ridden region and the local youth lacked the required skills.

Facing this severe reality and understanding the threat it posed to the future generations, O P Chaudhary accepted this challenge to do something that would transform the district eternally.

Sometime, O P Chaudhary realised that the district didn't have adequate doctors, engineers, or even science teachers in its schools. He decided to bring the district-wide science based intermediate level education under one roof at the Dantewada Education City to improve the prospects of Dantewada's 400 science students.

To do this, he hand-picked the best teachers, renovated and painted an existing campus, and named them J C Bose house, C V Raman house, Kalpana house, and A P J house, after prominent Indian scientists and mathematicians.

Talking to 'The Garhwa Post' Shashank Shekhar, the Secretary General of NGO Dristhti said that, 'it would happen in campus of Kandi 10+2 school on November 15 being formation day of the state Jharkhand' -“Also would appreciate if the parents also join us in this chat session” so that they could also understand the general awareness, being a parents'. There will be a quiz competition in which all can participate, upon given the best to it, will be awarded by the guests, he states'.

We are also trying to finalise another guest, who is none other than DK Pandey, the DGP of the state Jharkhand, however, the schedule is yet to be realised at last.
