State Assembly Session to Begin from January 6th

RANCHI: After taking the oath, Chief Minister Hemant Soren decided to convene a three-day session of the newly elected assembly from January 6th. Stephen Marandi, party senior legislature to be the pro-tem speaker, who will conduct the house till bonafide Speaker is elected.



Jharkhand government cleared the arrears of para-teachers, contractual employees, students scholarships and anganwadi workers.


The newly carbonated, chaired by Chief Minister Soren also directed the concerned officials to fill up the vacancies in the government departments. The fast track courts will also be set up in every district to speed up the trail cases relating to sexual offences.


The cabinet also decided to initiate action cases against those who were part of the protests against the amendment of Chhotanagpur Tenancy Act and Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act in  last year.
